It’s a Wrap!

Bundle life’s gifts to share with those who matter.

In these workshops local artist Helen Seiver will support you to create a fabric wrap to hold your memories and a little book to hold your life’s story and insights.

This workshop is inspired by the ceremonial gift wrapping of Japan where wraps are made with care, often hand-embroidered or quilted with symbolic designs. These wraps reflect the important events in a family’s life: weddings, births, funerals. In this workshop we will take time to create a wrap of significance, one that covers a small box containing a love letter or a handmade book of memories and wisdoms.

You can bring fabric that is personally meaningful to you or you can use ours.

You can attend one or all three planned workshops (May 29, June 12 & 26).
